# I couldn't set my SMTP

If you're setting up a Gsuite account, please make sure you've followed this tutorial : [How to setup my Gsuite/Gmail smtp ?](/en/article/how-to-setup-my-gsuitegmail-smtp-17b42kr/)

If you've just clicked **Save &** **Start** on the SMTP settings window but you got an error message, or your campaign is automatically **turning off** as soon as you turn it on : this means Mailwarm couldn't connect to your SMTP, here are settings alternatives that work. 

Please try these three combinations:

**587 port and TLS protocol**

**465 port and SSL protocol**
